Construction Induction (White Card) Training

What:

To work on a building site in NSW it is a requirement that you hold a current OHS General Construction Induction Training Certificate, or 'Green Card' or 'White Card' as it is commonly known in the industry.

The Construction Induction white card is valid for use on all construction sites in NSW. This Construction Induction white card is recognised under the National Construction Induction Training System.

This Construction Inductionwhite card training course covers the key areas of health & safety that all workers face on construction sites. Our White Card and Green card courses are conducted by Workcover NSW approved trainers.

Thisa course is conducted by Easy HR. 'White Cards' are issued using our Worksafe Western Australia Approval. Workcover NSW Says: "In addition to the WorkCover NSW construction induction card, construction workers can work in NSW using valid construction induction cards issued by all states and territories under the National Code of Practice for Induction for Construction Work." Therefore these cards are valid in NSW.

 

Who:

Anybody who wants to work on a construction site in NSW must undertake Construction Induction White Card training. Permitting a person to commence work at a construction site without having completed the required white card induction training carries a maximum penalty of $3600 for an individual or $18000 for a body corporate. This training must be provided by the person Conducting a Business or undertaking. The penalty for not providing this training is $3600 for an individual or $18000 for a body corporate. (Clause 316 and Clause 317 of the NSW WHS Regulations 2011)

 

How Much:

* $100 Sydney
* $110 Newcastle
* There is No GST on this course

 

Inclusions:

* Training Notes
* Construction induction White Card (Also known as the 'Green Card)
* Wallet sized Risk Management reference card.

 

How Long:

6 Hours plus breaks. (Usually 8am to 2.30pm)

 

Prerequisites:

Must be able to understand English.

 

Proof of Identification (POI):

All particpants enrolled in the Construction Induction white card training course must provide proof of Identification. All documents must be original. Copies are NOT permitted.

 

Certificate:

On successful completion, Construction Induction course participants receive your official 'White Card'.
Our white cards are issued through Worksafe WA, and are therefore valid in NSW.
